About me

Hi, I’m Julia, the artist behind Teal Loft Art. Teal is my favorite color, that’s where the name comes from.

I’m an illustrator and 2D animator from Germany. I paint in a semi-realistic style and like fantasy, nature, cozy witchy themes and games. I’m a gamer myself.

Right now I mostly make animated stream assets for Twitch streamers and VTubers. I draw everything in Clip Studio Paint and animate it in Spine 2D. I also love character animation and would like to do more of it for indie games.

I’ve also illustrated book covers and postcards and made character, environment and prop designs.

Next on my list is Live2D, so I can make interactive assets for VTuber models.

Background & Education:

• Freie Kunstschule Köln (2023–2025): traditional art, anatomy, perspective and color theory.
• Online Schule für Gestaltung: Motion Design course (2023) and Illustration course (2026).
• I keep studying anatomy and design principles on my own.

Software: Clip Studio Paint, Spine 2D, DaVinci Resolve, Procreate

Hardware: Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 & iPad Pro

I also have years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.

I draw and animate everything by hand. I don’t use generative AI, and I don’t allow my art to be used for AI training.
